After finishing, when the hose is emptied of water, it will retract.

As with any hose used around horses, care needs to be taken to ensure the longevity of the hose and prevent punctures. This hose will stand up to a horse accidently standing on it however continuously allowing horses to walk and stand on any hose will shorten its life.
Repairs can be made if needed by removing the damaged section and using a barbed connector, available from any hardware shop, to rejoin. Google for instructions.
